    Sudden stepper inversion

I run a 3 axis router with Mach2 and now Mach3 for 2 years now without any big issue.

    Yesterday

After some good parts machined the long axis started to sudden invert its direction and shortly after that the power supply of the PC quitted.

It is maybe two unrelated problem. I changed the power supply today and the PC came back to life. buth the router y axis is still arratic in the direction it choose to go I checked my paralel cable and it is ok.

Any clue could be of great help.

    Thanks

    Erik

Did you get this sorted out? Sounds like you'd probably have more PC troubles than Mach or controller. Unless the PC took something out with it in your controller.
