Hi, Hope this is in the right forum.(first timer) I am in the process of getting togeather all the parts to do a retro fit to my ZX45 mill. I just received a break out board from CNC4PC model C1G and a PCMCIA parallel port for my Dell laptop from Transdigital (www.transdigital.net) Now my question is I can not get a MPG/Encoder to work. I am using a HEDS -5701 from US Digital. When I select MPG or Encoder in March3 Config it turns on the first 7 Port 1 pins current state LED on the Diagnostics page. I am wondering if there is a problem with my parallel port or is this normal.What do these LED show.  |
