| bgriggs, You use mill if your cutting with a router or spindel and you use plasma if you are using a cutting torch or plasma machine to cut metal. Welcome to cnc and have fun check out the mach forum and the wiki on the mach support webpage http://www.machsupport.com I have learned so much from the people here and on the mach support website just ask and try.
