    first machine set up

I've recently ordered xylotex 3 axis board to control my hommade mill, Ive downloaded mach2 and would like to configure it to my machine. The problem is I dont know where to start.
Ive read over the xylotex setup files
But i have no idea how to hook up the board to the software
    the xylotex pinsetup?? is this

    (board)...... (PP)....... (db25 pin#)
    step x ........PD0 ........2
    dir x ..........PD1 .........3
    step y ........PD2 ........4
    dir y ..........PD3 ........5
    step z ........PD4 ........6
    dir z ..........PD5 .........7
    GND ..........GND .........18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25

db25 Is the cable that connects the board to a PP cable

Watch the video tutorials at www.machsupport.com The first one goes into setting up Mach3, which is similar to Mach2. I'd recommend going to Mach3 and not bothering with Mach2, btw.
