I have come across a pendant station with 6 pushbuttons and 6 Normally Open dry contacts. I want to be able to use 2 of the buttons to jog the machine in the + - X, 2 to jog in the +- Y, and 2 to jog in the +-Z. How do I feed these inputs into the computer so that Mach will recognize the action desired when I press a button. Do I hook them directly into a parrallel port, serial port, USB? Is there an interface I need? Clueless here and need help. Today I just use the computer keyboard. Can anybody help with some advise. Thanks in advance |
