New question on a recurring theme. I have a newlaptop, no db25 or db9 port. PCMCIA to db9 cards are too expensive $50+. You can buy a pcmcia to db9 card on e-bay for under $10. My question, if I add a simple pin converter for db9 to db25 on the PCMCIA card, then will this drive my mach 3/xylotex board system? Thanks. |

| Is the Pcmcia card to 9db a serial convertor? The 25db is a parallel port. Al.

| Very unlikely it would work. In a month or two you should be able to run an ncPod with mach3 via USB.

Did this ever come to be? I do not see anything on the webpage yet. This is what I am looking for before I make my final purchases. |
