Hello all, I have a 19 x 54 Leblond lathe with Mach3. The servo drives work great, 90 ipm Z and 45 ipm X for resolution. I am running a sound logic breakout board and a cnc4pc spindle card to convert the step/direction signals to 0-10v analog. I had no problem configuring the servo drives but I can't seem to get the step/direction spindle to work with the vfd. Has anyone done this? If so, how did you configure it? My problem may be the 5v common on the breakout board for the Gecko's and the cnc4pc cenverter board may require a 0v ground. Any help would be appreciated. I saw on the ports/pins configuration that modbus should be used with step/direction? If so, how would that work? Thanks, Mike |

| Hello Mike, I have not used there spindle board... I have used the one from Bob and it seemed to work well! The one that I use the most is a PLC with modbus I like to have 16out and 20 in for 200.00... the analog is a bit more at 150 for 2 in and 2 out... But it works well. |
