No, they won't work.

I havnt even got to use the SmoothStepper I bought almost three years ago. By the time I get to the point of putting it in its hard to tell what will be out.

I have read about the Kflop and it does look very good ( but abit envolved). From someone that has bought into CNC Brain, then SS and still neither is complete I get a bit hesitant to buy into something else. Al though the SS has added a few things lately, I dont know if they will keep on working it out more ( hopefully).

My machine is getting close to being able to run now though. Gecko is talking about a new setup and there is one USB board I have seen that I feel may be worthy. IDK, I guess I will have to wait and see when the time comes to see whats doing what. The SS should work for my basic setup, but hopefully I get to where I need more.

hello,

what think of the plugin:
PLCM Devices Series

http://www.cnczone.com/forums/attach...1&d=1329063350

proposed on the page of
ArtSoft USA - Plugins

and more particularly it:

PLCM-LPT to control…
just this accessory and its software pilot, are enough to transform the connection printing into liason USB, in an effective way for MACH3?

Thank you for your answers.

bonjour,

que pensez vous du plugin :
PLCM Series Devices

proposé sur la page de
ArtSoft USA - Plugins

et plus particulièrement le :

PLCM-LPT controller...
est-ce que juste cet accessoire et son pilote logiciel, suffit à transformer la liaison imprimante en liason USB, d'une façon efficace pour MACH3 ?

Merci pour vos réponses.

PLCM is a motion controller. there are hundreds of them sold in Russia. But marked one was closed and replaced by plcm-e3.
Answering your question, that depends on what do you mean by "effective way". It works, and stable.
