Trying to hook up my G100... Got the thing to recognize and move the xy&z.. But it moves the Y and Z backwords (meaning z goes down but counts positive..) That was easy to fix with a x or check in direction low of ports and pins but for the life of me I can't reverse the direction when running through the grex.. Yes I've gone in the plugin config and tried the reverse option and flashing the Grex. Seems to have no effect. And what the heck are modes0 - 4 along with quadrentural, reverse and such anyway? Also after flashing the Grex my acceleration for the xyz is way slowed down till I go into motors and tuning and play with the acceleration. Then it goes back to normal. And finally.. Any ideas how to get mach to recieve pendant input through the Grex? Got the thing so I could smooth things out and speed things up and seems like it could be good but missing something in the setup.. (more documents please or something from gecko would not hurt.).. Running the latest version of mach (v2 I guess) downloaded from the site. As well as the plugin for grex from the site. Guess this has changed from what was to be based on the video up on the artsoft site. Wish I had the Grex tab (next to diagnostics) but anyway.. b/ Last edited by wcarrothers1; 11-16-2006 at 12:44 AM. |

| I'd ask Art on the Yahoo group, or email him direct. Not a lot of G100 users around to answer.

| Ya I figured I was blazing new ground.. I'm on the yahoo. Just easier to post here last night. I think I may have figured it out although I'm not sure yet how to interface to the digital inputs (or rather attatche them to things like limit switches.. b. |
