I have recently succesfully installed my driver(Hobby CNC 4 axis kit). The motors were jogging but after unistalling the A axis recently(while board was turned off) I cant get the motors to rotate. I haven't turned off the jogging or inhibted any axis. I have since tested limit switches which worked fine. I suspect during the learning procees I have turned something off in the software but cannot figure out what. Thanks in advance. Liam |

| Triple check all the port and pin settings. Especially make sure the port address is correct, and that each pin is assigned the correct port.

| In device manager, check the resources tab for the parallel port.

| Looks like it's set right, then. Are you sure you didn't change any wires?

| I'd try uninstaling Mach3 completely, and reinstalling it. Make sure you reboot after the uninstall. Then, set up a single axis and nothing else, until that axis works. Try MDI mode as well as jogging. You probably need to check if your parallel port is outputting the correct voltages to the pins. You said it was working fine until you removed one motor? Also check the power supply, basicaly go through everything with a fine tooth comb. And try to get ONE axis working before trying anything else.

| Followed all the instructions above and still no result. Went through the driver kit with a fine tooth comb nothing obvious wrong. I will borrow a spare printer cable tommorrow to see if that has an effect. Limits and homing switches work fine. Liam |
