Buy me a Beer?

Do you have a license for Mach2? That will cause an incomplete part, as you'll be limited to 1000 lines of g-code.

Does the machine work correctly when not using V-carve? If so, then it's most likely a Vcarve setup problem.

Also, try to ask more specific questions (or give more details), and post pics whenever possible. Makes it easier for people to help you.

You need to get Mach2 setup and working properly first. Once you know its setup and working correctly, then start working on vcarve.

Hi Bo,

When you open a VCarve Pro toolpath file in Mach2 do you see the lines of GCode in the edit window and a preview of what the file should cut?

Are you running with the Demo or Full version of Mach2?
The 1000 lines of code limit in the Demo version of Mach will allow you to run 2D toolpaths (Profile and Pocket) but almost certainly not any 3D VCarving toolpaths as these typically require more lines of code.

It's also worth checking that the feedrates specified for the toolpath are appropriate and not too fast for the stepper motors.

E-mail any additional information - pictures or files etc. to - support@vectrc.com

Tony
