    Homing Issue

Hope someone can shed some light on this.

I have my manual tool change position at X0,Y0,Z120 machine moves to position correctly.

After that I hit Alt H for home position which is X1000,Y200,Z100. What happens is that the Z then moves to Zero whilst the X and Y travel to their home positions and then Z lifts to Z100 (home) problem is the Z travelling down to Z0 first as it then drags the tool accross the table.

How do I tell Mach to stay above the table at a safe height???.. what setting do I need to change?

On the Settings screen, set Safe Z to the height you want. Then, under Config>Logic, check the box that says "Use Safe Z".

You should be able to add those lines in your post processor. I'm guessing you don't have home switches at those positions.

Try going to www.machsupport.com and watch the tool changing video. It might get you going in the right direction, but I think it's for an ATC. I may be wrong, though. Check it out and see.
