You may have reversed the polarity to stepper or the signal to controller
I posted this in the Xylotex forum, then decided that I was in the wrong place![]()
So anyway, I have a new Xylotex controller and steppers and I'm running Mach3. The Xylotex setup was their plug-and-play system so all I had to do was plug it together. Well, the Z axis runs backward. I'm not that good with Mach3 (kinda new to CNC altogether) so I don't know if this is a configurable issue - I mean, can I just go somewhere in Mach3 and tell it to reverse one of the axes?
Thanks,
Mark

It's just plug-and-play. Xylotex wired it and all you have to do is plug the plugs together. I hope they didn't do it backward?
Is it possible to tell Mach3 to run that axis in reverse?

And if that does not work you can try this. config _ homing/limits and then just click on reversed for the axes you want to reverse.
