Question How to turn on my router?

    HI,
I am a newbie to this so be gentle with me.
Hopefully this is an easy question. I am running Mach3 with a Gecko G540 driver. My gcode has a M3 command to start my router but i need to configure my hardware and software, so i am looking for the steps needed to make this happen.

I plan on using a relay to turn on the router. How do i configure Mach3 to turn on an output thru my Gecko G540?

    Thanks
    farmertom

Ports and pins, spindle tab. Uncheck the box in the upper left corner, and choose an output number for M3.
Then go to the output tab and set up that output # with the correct pin number from the G540.

    I don't have a G540, so I can't help with the relay.
