Mach 3 setup for Homemade router!

Hi I have been working on a homemade cnc router for some time now and i have finally got to the electronics. (Sigh) Oh wait... guess not
I Have a couple of problems so i'll list them.

1.) I don't know how to make my cnc go to home position by pressing a key.
Is there a button on screen or do i need to sync a key command?

2.) Is there a limit that I can apply for my 36x24" table? I only have a cutting surface of 20x19" and I went to the Home/Limit Tab in Mach 3 and set "Soft Max" to 20" on X, 5" on Z, and 19" on Y. I set all the "Soft Min" to 0 but it will not limit itself to those dimensions and is almost stripping out my threaded rods.

These problems are probably a very simple number or button to put in but i just can't seem to find it.

Thanks!,

~Max Kauker

Thanks

Buy me a Beer?

Do you have home switches? If so, the ref all home button will home the machine. If you don't have home switches, then what are you calling "home"

Do you have Softlimits turned on? There's a button to toggle then on/off.

I got the homing system down but now I just need to know how to configure mach 3 to my router TABLE. Is there a spot that I can say how large my table is and how far it should move without hitting the sides? I am trying to adjust soft limits but i don't know what numbers to put in.

Here are the pictures of the soft limits and what i have them set to. The numbers that i put in are all the maximum inches of travel the system can do without hitting the side.
