Hello,

I have been using Mach3 with my small homemade engraving machine and many times when using the keyboard buttons to control the stepper motors it just stops working, yet if I press the TAB key to use the on screen buttons with mouse they do move them every time. Anyone have any reasons for this. It seems like the pulses aren't being sent when they should while using the keyboard.

Do they move at all with the keyboard? If so, do they just stop, or do the motors stall and make noise?

Hi Gerry,

Thanks for helping. They just stop, but are still energized. They work using the on-screen jog with the TAB key. There is no noise or disruption when using the keyboard.

Check you have jogging enabled Ctr-Alt-J on standard mill screen
