Do you have Automatic Limit Override turned on?
Or have you tried Manual override?
I recently rewired my limit switches to free up a pin for an emergency stop button and auto zeroing and now each time I engage a limit switch it doesn't allow me to reset the switch automatically and I have to go back into Config - Ports and Pins in Mach 3 to disable them each time before I can reset my cnc machine. I was previously able to do so via a warning screen that showed me that a limit switch was triggered and asked me if I wanted to reset the switch automatically. I'm not sure why this is happening now and don't want to waste a lot of time trying to figure this out myself. Is there anyone that has had a similar problem or that can give me a hand with solving this problem for me. Thanks in advance for any assistance that you can provide.

Hi everyone am a newbie and in need of help
On how to wire up limit switches to my new
Cnc 6040z USB 3 axis machine ?
The board in the black box is JP-3163B with
Optional A-axis connectors or (4th axis) now there's
Connectors on it which I don't know where or
how to connect 2(limit switches) on each axis???? Please help
The board you showed me is similar, im send
pic attachments of actual board and also a single
Stepper motor card for the A axis I bought that I
Want to connect ..also mine has only one big parallel
DB connector and no db 9...
combining the information I found on the web with your second photo
I would connect the limit switches like this for the first 3 axis
when you add the 4th axis
you could either use the input labled probe if your not using a probe
or
combine the 4th axis switches with one of the other axis limit switches
I can not add more detail to this diagram to connect the 4th axis driver
without detailed photos of the connectors
or the user manuals for the 3 axis board and the single axis driver
