Default X-axis running in random directions

    Hello all!

Our computer broke so we had to reinstall Mach.
We used the same settings for ports and pins etc. we had on the old installation.
But now when I move the X-axis it often runs the same direction while pushing X- or X+.
(when I swapped the X and Y pins in the settings then the Y had the same problem)

Maybe someone here has encountered the same problem and there is a easy fix.

    Many thanks ahead!

    Phootsman,

Stick a meter on the direction pin for the X axis. It should change from close to 5V to near 0V, or vice versa. The direction pin is what causes the motor to change directions.
