Post some code.
Hey guys, thanks in advance for helping- I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why I'm getting these huge purple circles on one of my parts. At first I ignored it since I ran my gcode in OpenSCAM- a CAM simulator- and everything was fine. But at the end of the cutting, it started cutting out the circle around the part. I tried changing my IJ setting from absolute to incremental and that only made more circles... Please help gurus!
Thanks again,
amateur machinist in distress

For some CAM programs, IJ Mode has to be "absolute" on the Mach3 config page and the problem is resolved.

I have tried the IJ settings with both incremental and absolute to no avail. However, I updated my Mach 3 and the problem is resolved, so I am assuming it was a bug in the old version.
Thanks for the ideas though.
Where did your g-code come from? I've never heard of an IJ bug in Mach3. Could be your g-code had some commands unrecognized by your older version of Mach3?

Are you using work offsets other than G54?
I have found under some circumstances Mach will do as you describe if you are using cutter radius comp on G55 and above before G54.
