spindle alarm - Nakamura tome slant jr.

Hello, I just wired up my new Nakamura Tome Slant Jr. lathe, and when I powered it up, I got a spindle alarm. Since I do not have the manual, I am not sure as to how to clear this alarm. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Jeremy
