Probably shorted bridge, pick up a higher current one for replacement, did you have correct fusing in place?
Al.
I just wanna know what going on with my power supply. Earlier today I had it up and running no problem. Then I plugged it in again and the bridge rectifier started to smoke up. With no wires going out of the power supply it still smokes up. I am curious if I can fixed this unit by just replacing the bridge rectifier. Thanks

No I don't have any fuses protecting my power supply at all, didn't think I'd need them. I only have them for my motor controllers and my steppers. How should I set fuses up for my power supply?
There should be correct fusing, in the primary at least of your transformer.
Also optional in the secondary leads to the bridge.
