You have to look if there is a main contactor maybe you need any signals to enable the servos. Give me more details, the machine has simodrive 611 servos?
Need a little help. Hope i can describe this correctly. This is a Siemens
810M on a MotionMaster CNC router. Build around 1991.
A high pitch whining sound is suposed to come from the main electrical box once the machine initializes. Usually i flip the main paower switch, a few seconds later the controller comes on line along with the whinning (or high pitch buzzing) sound should come on. I believe this is the motion control cards coming on line or somthing like that.
Anyway. No whinning sound, no working machine. Does this make any sense? Anyone know where i should start looking?
Thank you.

More Data.
This problem has happened a few other times where if i waited a little bit and cycled power it would come back on line. Usually it would happen a few times and then go away. Possibly a colds solder joint?? It is cold in the shop right now....
It seams to me that i am not getting power to my Servo boards. There is a MotionMaster relay board in there that has 4 relays come on at the time the controller comes up and the servos should come up. These relays are marked X,Y,Z&W.
My servo system is a Transport Dynamics SD4-1525-10-4. No LED are powered on any of the 4 board which leads me to think something upstream like a power supply. There is a PowerOne HE24-7.2-A in there as well. need to check it.
Anyone have a schematic for these servo's so i can backtrack the system?
Also, On the MotionMaster board right about the 4 relays marked X,Y,Z&W are 3 other relays marked Out 1, Out 2 & Out 3. These do not appear to be coming online but i do not know what the are for.
