I am working with a customer who has a lot of Mori controls. We have attempted to gather the details from the machine tool company and waiting on responses. The only documents I find are on the CAPS system to networking with Moris Software.

I assume that all of these models support RS232, so the real question is do they each support network connections via FTP (CNC as a server mode), FTP (CNC as a client mode) and\or simply mounting a drive onto the network. I have done quite a bit with the FTP capabilities of Fanucs and I assume that most, if not all of the Moris with Fanuc back ends would support this too, but I am unsure as to whether I am correct in this. If, as is often the case with Fanuc, some or all of these connection methods are optional, any help anyone could give us is spotting whether the option is enabled or not would be helpful.
