Need a clamping kit or alternative

hey everyone, I've got a harbor freight mill item #33686. I didn't see a clamping kit on there web site that fit my machine specs. The problem is that a 5/8" clamping set will work only if I machine the width of the t-nuts down a bit. I think this stuff is hardened. I don't know if high speed steel would work for this or not. My t-slot dimensions are .625 @top, the bottom is .984 wide and .43 high. These are 16mm t-slots. The metric ones I've seen are expensive. I wanted a nice little set instead of making everything. Any links? Also, some sites only specify the t-nuts as being 5/8", but in a catalog i've got from rex supply it specifies that there are two types of 5/8" t-nuts(dimensionaly speaking) neither of which will work for me unless I machine.

I have the same mill. How many t-nuts do you need? I may have a few extra for 1/2-13 if you only need a few.

Thanks to the both of ya, I ended up finding a clamping kit here locally and picked it up at lunch. Its a 5/8" clamping kit which is the equivalent to 16 mm. Looks like I'll have to grind or mill away between 13 thousandths to over 1/8" an inch depending on the base width of the t-nut, being that there are 1" and 1-1/8" types. It cost around 80.00 with tax. I guess not too much more than some of the mail order ones plus shipping, then I have too wait.
