You can get a manual from Dynapath.....they're 200 bucks, though. It will have all of the information about what the control is looking for.
The code needed is nothing really out of the ordinary. I can tell you that you must not have spaces anywhere in your code.
Any CAM system with a configurable Postprocessor should work fine.
You must also have a program name as your first line. It must be in parenthesis, all capital letters. Like this..... (TEST).
Those are some of the most common snags.
BobCAD/CAM lists many Dynapath 20 posts for free on their site, BTW.
thank you for the imfo , ive been trying forever to communicate with this dynapath. all i want to do is save programs
Early dynapaths do not have Eia programming, so you need a dynapath post. Later deltas have the Eia function, the basic of which would be a fanuc om I believe. You do have to modify the post for the end of block, beginning of the program, fixture /tool offset commands. Also, I have run in to some dynapaths that were wired for parallel communication, rather than serial, this is simply switching lines 2 and 3.
thanks, i figured that there is a trick somehow. i have version 18 bobcad and they want give me any support anymore to communicating with this control
