I was able to get my laptop to connect to the Bandit control. A co worker helped me to make up a cable with a 9 pin serial and the AMP connectors.
I was able to transfer a small file using the program that Chris64 wrote.
Now the fun starts figuring out how to translate my CAD stuff into something the old control understands. Thanks guys for all the help.
