    Red face Fanuc ac spindle drive alarm 01

    Dear all
    We have one turning center having fanuc OT controller it shows message 2001 spindle fault,then i checked drive it shows alarm 01 - motor over heat so please help me how to solve this problem.

    If the motor or machine in general is not overheated, it may be one of the Thermal sensors faulty, there is often one built into the motor, two leads coming out which should have zero resistance, occasionlly one in the spindle supply transformer is used, it is buried in the winding.

    as per ur guidence i checked motor pulse coder and thermal sensor wire i found one wire RB from pulse coder disconnected after connecting it m/c working ok
