wireless RS232

We’ve currently got a few pc’s linked to Puma’s and mazaks using RS232 cables draped over the roof or round the walls. This is a problem when we want to move a PC having to redo the wiring. Whats the best / reliable way of doing wireless RS232?
We program with Alpha Edit and Fanuc Fapt on Windows 2000 and windows XP PC’s. We’re currently looking at blueconsole dot com and some others
Any recommended solutions ? many thanks
