need help getting eia files from mazak m32

I have mazacam, CNCPC and I downloaded pc-dnc and I get any of them to pull these eia programs. Now using the same cable I can get mazatrol programs. But these eia programs there is always a misconnect issue or com port problem. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? The guy who used to do this left, so they are making me do it and I am not that well versed in these software packages or serial communication. I also have the microdisk box, could i do it with that?

I have had the most luck with PC-DNC, it transmits--but then it says it cannot read the data

i know you have to use the tape button instead of the cmt button. i don't know if that helps.

yes, I do know about the tape button. Thats how I am doing it. I have gotten that far, but with pc-dnc it transfers and then says the data is unreadable. I know the program is OK because they are running it. Thanks for the input.
