Retention Knob Help

I have an 87 Leadwell mch 500 with a BT40

I have the worst documentation on the machine so I can't find which retention knobs it requires. I tried a B40-4500S but it doesn't work and you can tell the knob needs to be a little longer.

I really need help finding this out
