    Question Siemens drive problem

I have a 1986 cnc Lablonde makino lathe with a fanuc 3t control. It has siemens drives. When I power up it blows the two 8 amp fuses on the drive board. I get an error message 10. I can't enable the drives. The machines were made by gildemiester I think.
Does anyone have any experience with these?

If these are SCR drives, see if you can get a local electronics shop to test the SCR's for shorted condition, if they are and you can find replacements, it may be worth a try.
    What size motors are they?
