Well you didnt think it would be long til I was back did you? The upload and downloads I have done have appeared to work. I have not checked every line for accuracy but I have checked just to make sure each line had content. I have a file that has the 4 different sized bores that creates a turners cube (271 lines). This file was created with BobCad and it worked well on my Sherline with Mach 3 and G code. I recomputed all of the toolpaths with the Dyna 2400 post processor and it writes a code that looks right as far as I can tell. When the code is run on the Dyna, I get 4 holes in a line and none are the right diameter however I do think the depth for each is right. It should plunge in the same place at 4 different depths and pocket/bore 4 different diameters. ? There was a statement in my manual that was hand written that says something about changing the O's to a Q's. This note was in reference to a software set up maybe as it was in the section on the ASCII codes and such. ?
