Hi People. I am in big trouble. I have a cincinnati acramatic 2100 milling centre. My programmer told me that I should backup the hard disk. This is my first CNC machine in life so I am noob in CNC world Generally I am good at dealing with PC software and hardware but I never dealt with CNC hardware/software earlier. I connected the cnc hard disk to my desktop and spoiled my original harddisk as I want aware of the fact that modern OS update the hard disk file system automatically. So now my CNC milling wont boot up at all. Can someone now please guide me what to do. Also I have some other questions regarding my CNC There was Windows NT written at the boot up sccreen of my CNC. Is that Windows NT exactly same as the Windows NT we use on our desktops. If it is infact the same Windows NT, then I can use my Pentium 2 to restore windows NT. But that would still leave me with the installation of acramatic 2100 software. Please reply |

| You need to obtain a replacement from Siemens if you cannot find another source, it is recommended that you use cloning software to make a back up. Siemens used to charge around $1k for a replacement. Al.
