I'm trying to get dnc working between my pc and my Hurco KMB1M. I have the ATMS Inc. BX upgrade board. Currently using 9600bps/7/e/2 xon/off. Communication itself is fine. Where I'm hitting a brick wall is with the cr/lf settings in predator (under bobcad). When I use ignore I get a high character (graphic character likea lambda and a sigma) before and after each line. These trip a error on the console of the Hurco. When I use "strip" I get a "long line" error for lines exceeding 128 characters. Using variations of these settings don't seem to work. What is the right character to terminate the line with? I am sure someone else is using bobcad to run their Hurco. I'd appreiate knowing what settings you use. thanks, -Brian  |
