| Hi Can any one please advise on which tapping head to go for. I am using a Bridgeport 1 MK11 on iso 30. I have been sent a Dormer tapper but the taps are solid drive with no clutch so think i will send back, dont want broken taps at the end of a job. Cheers Chris. |

| I use a tapmatic 30x - http://www.tapmatic.com/prod_xseries.html I picked up a used one, and it works great. I use it in a Jet mill for taping 1/4-20 threads in acrylic. They have auto-reversing as well as normal models. The 30x is auto-reversing, has a clutch, and a micro-adjustment feature. Zeph |

| I've got several Tapmatics also. I would suggest you get The "R" series as they will tap both right hand and left hand, all in one unit.
