All the parameters and settings had been wiped out, I'll not discuss how .The machine is back up and running except for one small thing....... It has to be switched into "Manual" mode to open and close the chuck. Before the wipe-out it wouldn't bar pull, it would interlock alarm on the next line after "M69". Even if it was "M68" to immediately close the chuck. Any info pertaining to the chuck parameters would be greatly appreciated. Param #s, bits and their corresponding functions. How our back-up was missing this is beyond me. |

| Dainichi has sent use a copy of the original params. Only one bit was different, aside from personal canned cycle preferences. That bit turned the door interlock back on, sigh. Stumped FANUC says that from their end the control knows nothing of the chuck. That it's all controlled in the PLC logic. Anyone know of some reference material to teach a guy how to read PLC ladders, diagnostic bits and such? |
