Does anyone out there have a CP01b and MMo1b board for a Yasnac?Hope all of your equipment is behaving better than mine this week!

Hello,

Do you have a alarm code on the screen or does it just show "CPU ERROR" ?

Regards,

Tim

Mx-1

Just says "CPU ERROR".Reminds me of the Matrix when it crashes at the end of the movie! The contol wont boot its self.We put the tape reader switch on both test modes and nuthin. With the switch set on 7,the regenrate screen comes up,but you cant reload the system. We swapped the Cpu board into a Mori with an LX1 and got the same error, but when we put the good CPU from the LX1 in the Matsurra-CPU error.Put it back in the Mori, its still good.I found a set of boards cheaper than Yaskawa and Im ohm'n out the buss connection ribbon cables, any suggestions go a long way,as Monday 3pm is d-day and the boards will be bought-ouch,but still cheaper than the payments on a new machine! Thanks.

We have 3 Matsuura’s with a Yasnac Mx-1 controls. I know that sometimes they will show errors on the screen and will not start up but it could be simply a cooling fan is on the fritz. It’s a built in safety devise. I would take a meter and check all of your fans first. Believe me,, we all ready went though this. We swaped out the faulty fan and she started right up! Happy Hunting, Big Daddy

Yaskawa blues

Thank you all for your input. It turned out, despite what the genius's at yasnac advised,it was the cp02 board. It wouldnt load its software.I ended up buying a pull out from some folks called Redrive.Shortly there after a complete Mattsurra showed up on Ebay for $500.-I own it.It had two bad transistors and two bad diodes in the power supply-12.00 worth of parts.Which via Yaskawa, would have been 4000.00.Im eagarly pursueing the EMC,know what I mean...
