Hey folks here is my problem,my motors are not spining ,after running a roughing program I was about to go into a finishing program,I jogged the z up out of the way to do a move command back to the start because the roughing didnt go back to the start ,at which I noticed that all three axes seemed to be all chocked up and stutering.Smooth at some points and then rough at others, similar to when one of the axes is binding.I shut of power supply and rebooted P.C. Turned on power supply and tried to jog the X ,Y ,or the Z but to no avail ,the numbers moved on the screen but motors did not turn. Tried a different P.C., but the same thing. Now my machine is in the garage and it gets slightly cool in the winter but I usualy run the heat for about an hour before turning things on.Any ideas of what to look for or where to start the trouble shooting. Also when the power supply is on I can still freely spin the motors by hand, there is no holding power at the motors at all, cheers.

i wonder if you've got condensation in you drivers or power supply ,the temperature where your at is probably a killer right now and as the electronics warm up they could have built up condensation , i had a tv sit in my truck overnight one time ,it was -30C outside ,the next morning i went out to get it and let it sit for 1or 2 hrs , when i plugged it in i cooked the tv and the wall socket

Thanks for the reply,I,ve got a raised floor in my garage and a seperate partition to that part of the shop, and it is cool but not freezing.I was running the thing for about 5 hours yesterday with no problems at all.How do I check to see what is shot and what is not,do you think my motors would be effected,or just the driver boards and the breakout board. The power supply does come on and the cooling fan runs, but that is all I hear, huge bummer, cheers and thanks agian for the responce.
