Simple 3axis machine

I am building a machine (not a lathe, mill or router table) that simply uses three screw drives. I would like to program it by jogging the drives to a position, record the position, jog to the next position, record it and so on and so on. Once all the positions are recorded I would like the drives to smoothly run through all the recorded positions. Does anyone know of such simple software?

If I remember correctly, I think Mach3 had a 'teach' mode that _might_ work for what you want..
at least you can download the demo and try it..

Quickstep has a teach function as well.

I'm buildimg my own software to do something like this. Right now I'm using it to control servo's in a robotic arm but have also used it to control stepper motors. What part of Chattanooga are you in? I'm on Signal Mountain..
