What do you need to know

Well I want to run gcode to my kmb1. I already have my 9pin on pc going to my emulator card. On the back of the machine the 2 ports have phone line wire spliced into them both. Now can I use that or do I need another pc with a 9pin on it, and what type of free dnc should or would work.

my DNC Came with my cad cam....To use G-gode you have to load a and here is another linkmaster program thru your serial port not the emulator...,I have a serial port and cable hook up to my computer...the parameters will need to be set so the computer will communicate with the machine here is a link where you can doanload master programs... http://www.amtsinc.com/home.html .... and here is another link..these people have good phone support...and it is free

Ok so if I run another 9 pin from machine (the round plug) to my pc 9 pin it wont mess with my emulater card that I use to load the master. I have the master for conversational,gcode, and 6000 rpm spindle. If it wont be bad for my emulator to plug and un plug the 9 pin then I will wire it I already have the pin out for the 9 pin.
