My Trak cnc 2 has rs232 port..I would like to hook to my computor so I will have memory external storage; i.e. disc, as controller is limited..Factory external storage would have been a tape or disc reader but they are no longer available..At this point I don't mind programing at the controller as long as I can store and retreive..What could I do?? Thanks, Seb. |

| The control is Trak, model is cnc 2...It is made by Southwestern Industries..newer models are the A.G.E.2&3, MX2..I have tried a program from Visual cnc but it says there is a framming error, and just shows jibberish when I send a program to the computor...I can select the baud rate of the control [1200] in the program but it doesn't seem to help much..Someone told me that there maybe something to due with "stop bits"?? However they couldn't think of how to adjust..Seb. |
