33 Oz/in Motors Are They Enough

I RECENTLY FINISH A CNC ENGRAVER AND CHOSE HOBBY CNCS 33 OZ/IN MOTORS TO RUN IT. I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS USED A SIMILAR SIZE MOTOR AND IF YOU HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH THEM. I REALLY DONT WANT TO GO THROUGH THE TROUBLE OF MOUNTING THEM IF I HAVE TO STEP UP TO A NEMA 23

33 Oz/In Is not very much, you might be able to get away with it but I will suggest getting some cheap (ebay) 100 oz/in, thus give you 3x the odds that have have strong enough steepers to not skip steps...

The 8 a powersupply will run almost all 50-100 oz motors, especially if you are running a chopper controller. If unipolar, you can run motors up to a little over 1.25 A. per phase.

BUT, PC powersupplies work and are cheap. Use one for the Z and one for X and Y.
