| I have a 1982 Mazak Micro slant 15 with the fanuc 6t control. The Machine constantly is getting the 401 servo alarm only when bringing the x axis down. The alarm seems to occur when the machine idles for 20 minutes or longer. I just had both servo motors rebuilt and replaced the pulse coder on the x axis. Sometime the machine will run great for a day or two then the alarm comes back. Anybody with any suggestions would be much appreciated. |

| It is usually below the servo, there is a Mazak procedure to set pressure whilst running the X axis up & down. Al.

| If you have the maintenance manuals it should be in there, I believe you just need a pressure gauge to read while adjusting the pressure. Al.

| Thanks for the info. I went to power up the machine and now it goes right into 401 servo before I even turn the hydraulics on. I opened the back door on the machine and noticed a red light (TGLS) lit up on what I believe is the servo amp board. The board is located on the other side of the velocity control. Would the TGLS light on pinpoint any one thing that could be wrong? Thanks Again Shawn |

| Check the 3 phase into the drive and also check the overload reset. Al.
