You will need to mount an indicator on the face of the chuck and swing a boring bar holder. If you cant get it with in .001.the turret is out of line(this will cause major drilling problems). The maintaince manual has instructions on how to line it up. |

Hey: can someone help me figure out how to adjust a spindle. I have a cincinnati avenger lathe and my x-axis is out of wack. I've looked at my manual and of course it isn't complete enough to show me the proper adjustment procedures. My manual does show me how to adjust the head but mine is different from the manual. |
