We have a #445 Y axis soft disconnect alarm that is driving us nuts trying to figure out what the problem is. Fanuc doesn't seem to have a definate answer other than maybe replace the servo which we did. Anyone have this problem? |

| fastolds, Test the encoder cable from the motor back to the servo. I bet you some sort of problem there. I may have the servo parameter default setting if you would like to double check them against settings you currently have. I would need the motor & amp numbers. Also, are you sure the alarm is 445? This code does not match the problem you are having. Let me know if I can help.

445 is a soft dissconect that is correct acording to my handy Fanuc miniguid here. You got a bad encoder cable. Try swaping it with the X axis servo and see if the alarm transfers to the X axis. That is the quickest way if you do not have a spare cable. Bluesman |
