| hello, i am about to buy a new cnc lathe with 250 mm chucking&350 mm length,with 8 station turret, i would like to know that what r the things to be checked before shipping the m/c from the manufacturer( other than the normal run-out, alignment etc..etc....) regards avian |

| make sure everything in the control system works. Some of these machines when shipped from overseas take some abuse during transport, wires in the controls can be disconnected or worse yet - if there is poor soldering on boards, electronic pieces may have come off.

| Don't pay for the machine untill its in your shop and working to your satisfaction .Or mabe 50% down and the balance when its set up and working .Any reputable machine dealer does it this way. If they don't you might want to buy a different machine .
