Okuma TM APT GIII

I have a old Okuma TM APT system I purchased new in 93 or 94 it stores and feeds programs to 5 machines via 232 cables, here is my problem.
Last week the monitor quit working, found out the problem most likely is the video card but not 100% sure. Okuma wants 4 grand to fix it which isnt going to happen.
What I would like to do is retrieve the programs from the hard drive and transfer them onto a PC that will now be used for the programing and storage of proven programs. Can anyone tell me how this can be done, I purchased the proper cable for the hard drive but nothing wiil recognize the format for transfering the .MIN programs.
My other solution would be to find a old working system that I could swap hard drives with and then transfer the programs to the new PC.
Any other solutions would be appreciated.
