Need AXYZ parts badly!!

I am running an AXYZ 6010 router which was built roughly 15 years ago. I use Toolpath software when sending files to the machine and that program runs off of Windows 98. We cannot afford to upgrade the communication system between the computer and the machine but none the less the two have stopped communicating with each other. We need to replace the communication hardware in the computer and the machine. There is an LRC (long - range communication) card in the computer and a mother board in the back of the router and they are connected by way of a data cable. If anyone has spare hardware components for this type of set up then please let me know as a big part of my boss's business is at stake. Please help, thank you

Are you sure you cannot use standard RS232?
If it has these ports then there are free RS232 programs out there like Cadem Lite
