I would like to extract data from a Mitsubishi 635 control via RS232C connection. My question is how. I would like to gather stuff llike tool offsets/data, counters for M1 down time, and cycle times. Can anybody help? or point me in the right direction? |

| Mitsu m635 serial comms. You'll need to configure the params (i/o) to be able to communicate with a PC. Go to Mitsubishi's website (Mitsubishi Electric Automation Inc. - MEAU Home) and follow the download link to CNC controls documentaion. Seek out the Series 600M parameters manual and you'll see there are parameters for serial communications. M600 series controls also have an option for Ethernet (rj45) connections look to see if you have an RJ45 and you'll that to be a whole lot more efficient than rs232. |
