Problem- Yasnac 3000 G /BTR problem

Matsuura MV 1000 (1981)w/ Yasnac 3000G w/crt. control. A BTR, that worked a few years ago, was installed before I got it, I bought the software (Shoplink) but can't get it to work. It seems like it is only able to read one character at a time, whether sending, or receiving a program. Is there a special prefix I need to start the program with, I've tried O and % , neither worked. Thanks in advance for the help.

did you get your set up to work? I also have a 3000G with a Greco MTIC that i'm trying to get up and running.

I have a mc500v with the same controller, is it possible to hook this up to a PC via Serial?

were you ever able to hook up your Matsuura MV 1000 with the Yasnac 3000G ?

i'm trying to get my Yasnac 3000G hooked up to Mastercam on my PC and could use any info you may have. I have a Greco MITIC and WINDNC communication software but was wondering if i could go straight to the 3000G from the PC and not go through the MTIC. My parts are pretty simple.

No, Sorry Chuck, we havent had a chance, we are still waiting for some software conflicts. but i'll be around and i'll let you know what successes if any we have.

I have a matsuura 500V yasnac 3000G control and use a memex 1000 BTR and memex multiDNC 6.5 software. But I have other problems in misreading going into arcs. It might go to the left when it is supposed go to the right. Going to loosen up my path and surface tol to .0008 hope it workes. Any help would be appreciated. Mike
